Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Facility HIM Director and according to general policies and procedures, the Facility HIM Coordinator will assist as needed in day to day HIM departmental activities, (e.g. working HPF, workflow queues, resolve unbilled accts, resolve privacy issues, and completing KRONOS. This position will serve as the on-site point of contact when the HIM Director is off-site. The Facility HIM Coordinator will serve as facility liaison to the Facility HIM Director and Regional HIM Director as needed. Supervises staff in the absence of Facility HIM Director, assists HIM Director with daily supervisory tasks.

What qualifications you will need:

• One year of HIM dept experience or equivalent strongly preferred. 
• High School diploma or equivalency required, post high school education with an Associates of Arts Degree in related field preferred.
