This position is responsible for the safe and successful daily operations of the hyperbaric oxygen treatment chamber, maintenance and certification of Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy. This assists in the coordination of resources, both material and human, promotes patient safety through real time monitoring of HBO practice and provision of immediate feedback to reinforce or correct; ensures an optimal environment of care by identifying environmental barriers to optimal patient care and taking action collaboration with appropriate departments. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.
Qualifications
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: (Required licenses, certificates, specific skills, personal traits, e.g., RN, CPA, CPR)
- Hyperbaric Medicine. - Certification for Hyperbaric Technology received from National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology – approved course focused on Hyperbaric Medicine
Required Skills:
- Wound Care Experience, CPR
Preferred Skiils:
- TCOM administration, strong communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills, strong computer skills
