Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for Medical Surgical who reports directly to the Medical Surgical Director. You will need to demonstrate expertise in the daily operations of the Medical Surgical unit(s) and other departments as assigned. You will be responsible and accountable for monitoring the delivery of patient care through he utilization of the nursing process, physician orders, established policies and procedures, quality improvement initiatives, established professional standards, and administrative house-wide policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
• BSN required
• Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field, highly desired
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• EKG Certification required within 3 months of hire
• Hospital Fire & Safety certification required within 60 days of hire
• Minimum 3 years Telemetry/MedSurg experience required
• Nursing Specialty Certification, highly desired
