Position Summary:
Responsible for duties related to the clerical/operational functions of the nursing unit. Functions as a member of patient care team under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse in providing competent care to patients, according to their individual needs. Performs basic patient care directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of
patients.
Reports To: Nursing Coordinator of Unit & Director

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current BCLS required
- CNA certification required
Education:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Preferably, a minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience.
Special Qualifications:
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Medical terminology and transcription skills.
- Filing skills.
- Clear, legible penmanship.
- Computer knowledgeable.
- Nursing assistant competency
