Job Summary and Qualifications

The Net AR Accuracy Manager is responsible for managing all activities related to monitoring inventory and daily workflow to ensure Accounts Receivable (A/R) is stated accurately. This requires reimbursement, collections, government, managed care, billing, and denials knowledge, as well as strong analytical skills and the proficient use of multiple systems.  

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage daily activities related to monitoring inventory and daily workflow to ensure AR is stated properly, ensuring processes are performed efficiently and effectively
  • Address contract/net revenue administration issues with other departments and SSC leadership.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of Net A/R Inventory to ensure performance goals are reached.
  • Monitor and identify patterns and trends of known issues or limitations that could be addressed through the Net A/R process.
  • Review and provide contractual accrual support on high dollar accounts at month end to ensure net revenue is estimated appropriately.
  • Complete special projects that are received from SSC leaders in the organization.
  • Assist and provide feedback on internal and external audits due to net revenue adjustments.
  • Assist in policy and procedure creation for Net A/R functions. • Draft procedures for recurring processes needed as identified through special projects.
  • Screen, interview, and hire new employees
  • Arrange for training of new employees 
  • Review each staff member’s productivity on a monthly basis and performing annual evaluations
  • Counsel staff with disciplinary and productivity issues
  • Work as a liaison between the Net AR Accuracy staff and other SSC staff and HCA facilities.
  • Resolve issues escalated by Net AR Accuracy staff • Conduct monthly staff meetings 
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
  • Other duties as assigned  

What qualifications you will need:
  •   Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements. 
  •   Minimum one to three years’ experience in related area (with two of these years being healthcare management experience) or current participant in the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
