Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Purchasing Manager you will oversee the processing of all transactions associated with the purchasing of supplies/services, equipment, and office products required to support the market Service Center and participating facilities. You will also supervise the day-to-day activities of all Purchasing employees.
What you will do in this role:
Manage, coordinate, and set the overall priorities of the Purchasing Department
Manage the day-to-day activities of all Purchasing employees
Work with vendors to maintain constructive and appropriate relationships
Maintain good records and controls to provide an audit trail for all duties performed
Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve and avoid invoice discrepancies
Ensure that the OREC report remains current and accurate
Work closely with corporate IT&S and the vendor community to improve EDI usage
What qualifications you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years purchase management experience
- A high school diploma
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance management, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar field is preferred
- C.P.M. certification is preferred
