As a Quality Assurance Technician II, you will be responsible Quality Assurance support of the Custom Procedure Tray manufacturing at ROi CPS, LLS as it relates to Quality Assurance throughout the entire manufacturing process. You will have the opportunity to assure that proper documentation and standard operating procedures are followed.

In this role you will be responsible for the below activities:

  • Participate in Supplier Qualification and Review process.  Issue supplier complaints and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), as needed.
  • Assist with customer complaint investigations and MDR reporting, as needed.
  • Assist with Quality Data analysis and report generation.
  • Process and approve documentation needed for custom procedure tray production and final verification.
  • Perform final release of manufactured product through distribution to the customer including sterilization review and release.
  • Maintain components of Quality System for the custom procedure tray manufacturing through the use of the electronic Quality Management System and by enforcing adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with document updates, document control and quality management system administrative functions.
  • Work closely with both Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Management to assure that deficiencies are noted and reported in a timely manner.
  • Participate in process improvement planning and implementation.
  • Participate in internal and 3rd party audits, including FDA and Board of Pharmacy audits.
  • Train new and existing colleagues on processes, procedures and quality system requirements.
  • Attend team meetings/huddles as directed.
  • Seek guidance and bring to the attention of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Management any concern that could potentially impact product integrity or compromise regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher degree preferred.
  • 1 years of Medical Device or other FDA regulated industry experience.
  • 1 year of Quality Assurance experience or 1 year in medical device manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of FDA medical device regulations.
