We are seeking a PRN RN with cardiac nursing experience to cover weekday day shifts as needed. Cardiac Rehab prn would be responsible for continuing plan of care, monitoring vitals and telemetry while supervising a prescribed exercise program.The typical hours for the department are 6:15 A to 5:00 P.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The RN is responsible for directing all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice and federal, state, and local regulations.

The RN incorporates knowledge of patient’s age specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.

The RN contributes to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License

Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification on hire

ACLS

Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.

Experience: RN Acute Care experience is preferred.
