Job Summary and Qualifications

The Transporter under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor and/or Imaging Director, ensures the safe transport of patients throughout the hospital. Acts as a courier between the related units of the hospital

 What qualifications you will need:

Education:

High school diploma 

Experience:

Previous experience in a hospital setting, or in transportation of patients.

Other Qualifications

EMT certification preferred or CNA certification preferred

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
