Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the delivery of patient care in the absence of the department director, manager or assistant department manager. Serves as nursing clinical resource person and intervenes in difficult situations or medical crises. Oversees and coordinates the final staffing of the off shifts. Acts as administrative representative, interpreting and enforcing established policies and procedures for all hospital departments.

Shift: Nights.

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- B.A. / B.S. required
- MSN from an accredited School of Nursiing preferred
License/Certifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Board of Registered Nurses of the State of California
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
Experience:
- 5-7 Years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain comprehensive and current knowledge of organization and operation of hospital nursing department, and be able to resolve staffing and complex patient care issues under minimal direction.
