Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is primarily responsible for assisting surgical services team members with patient care as directed

Essential Functions

• Demonstrates knowledge and application of patient transport, patient preparation, and Perioperative Services equipment
• Assists with the assembling and staging of equipment, supplies, and instrumentation
• May have access to the POS room or designated areas to transport, assemble, and stock inventory of non-scheduled drugs and biologicals to include but not limited to fluids, sterile water, normal saline, and irrigations
• Organizes and communicates patient care activities to the patient and the Registered Nurse

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
