Job Summary and Qualifications

Utilizing the standards of care set forth by the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the RN in hemodialysis will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will fall within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act and will include individualized, holistic, supportive and safe care for the adult and geriatric patient population requiring hemodialysis.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
• Recent acute care experience required • Experience with acute care within last 5 years, preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS provider

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
