GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage compound lab operations following USP 795 and PCAB guidelines. Make and process compound and commercial prescriptions. Assist the dispensing pharmacist wherever needed to maintain all functions of the pharmacy lab operation within the bounds of pharmacy technician regulations. Learn and occasionally work the front-end of the Pharmacy.

QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree
· Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) and registration (TSBP)
· Compounding technician certification/formal training preferred
· In-depth knowledge of USP 795 regulations and PCAB guidelines
· PK or RxDispense software
· Work every other Saturday
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
· 4 years general pharmacy experience with customer service/register training
· 2 years full-time Non-sterile compounding lab experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Ability to work as a team member
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures
· Strong mathematical computation skills
· Knowledge of record-keeping techniques
· Attention to detail
· Experience with PCAB standards and accreditation process
· Compound training courses
