Data Centre related certification (CCIE, CCNP VCP, etc.) with a drive for continuous learning. Deep technical knowledge / understandings of L2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). Strong Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform knowledge and hands-on experience. Has deep knowledge of overlay technologies VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, LISP. Has knowledge and understandings of Cisco SDN based technologies such as Cisco ACI, Cisco Programmable Network Portfolio (Standalone VXLAN-Fabric) and DCNM. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in design and/or deployment of Data Center solutions including traditional DC standalone Nexus design, VXLAN Fabric-based ACI Fabric solutions using ACI MultiPod / Multisite Fabric architectures. Cisco ACI Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement Cisco ACI solutions based on business requirements. Configure and deploy ACI fabrics, policies, and application profiles. Network Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including ACI-related incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve network problems in collaboration with the network operations team. Policy Management: Implement and manage policies and security controls within the Cisco ACI fabric. Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices. Network Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance network efficiency. Work towards creating a self-service model for network provisioning and management. Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning for the Cisco ACI infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and analyze network traffic patterns and resource utilization. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Cisco ACI configurations, changes, and procedures. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks. Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers. Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate ACI with other technologies. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to Cisco ACI. Proficient in configuring and managing network monitoring and management platform, e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNOW, etc. (1.)
