HDR's Philadelphia Architecture studio is in search of a Health Principal to join our growing practice and word-class health expertise.

The primary responsibility of the Health Principal is to grow and develop the health architecture practice in the greater Philadelphia area. The successful candidate will focus on developing new business relationships and opportunities with health organizations in the local and the regional market.
Business Development, Marketing and Practice Growth:
- Develop new business opportunities for the health architecture practice.
- Lead HDR's marketing efforts to win new business, including proposal strategy and writing and interview presentations.
- Develop annual BD/marketing plan.
- Bring energy, excitement and fun to thriving practice.
- Collaboration with our other health care architecture leaders.
Client Management and Project Delivery Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects of varying sizes.
- Direct design team and collaborates with other project leadership.
- Enjoy working directly with clients.
- Oversee the design team's performance.
- Collaborate with PM to ensure project profitability.
- Ensure firm's project delivery processes are met.
- Help keep our staff sharp, trained and effective.

- Licensed Design Professional preferred.
- 10 years of healthcare experience required.
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Ready for excitement and fun within a dynamic design culture of an employee owned firm.
- Advanced credentialing desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)
