Primary Responsibilities

Who you Are:

* You are a forward-thinking person who is comfortable working on multi-disciplinary teams, often in virtual settings

* You are not afraid of leading and facilitating discussions

* Excellent written and verbal skills, skilled at defining and articulating a message and organizing content visually

* Exceptional organization skills, with and almost obsessive attention to detail, and a highly driven with the ability to balance multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

* Ability to embrace change and contribute to process improvement and considers themselves a lifelong learner

In the role of Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

* Coordinate with business development leaders, project managers, and other technical staff to prepare proposals, statements of qualifications, brochures, presentations, and other materials relating to business development

* Lead proposal team meetings, review sessions, and interview preparations to develop strategic messaging

* Write and edit marketing proposal documents, as well as develop and coordinate graphics and layout

* Support client development teams with marketing activity planning, research, and data management

* Consistently maintain pursuit and project information in our customer relationship management CRN database, along with resumes, project descriptions, and photography

* Coordinate conference attendance or sponsorship and other events

* Work with marketing and Project Managers to prepare materials, including qualifications, brochures, presentations, newsletters, proposals, award submittals, announcements and reports

* Use intranet, collaboration and file repository sites

* Develop and coordinate graphics, write and edit layout materials

* Research and produce technical documents and reports

* Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or closely related field - or a combination of education and relevant A/E industry experience

* Strong written and verbal communications and collaboration skills, including experience working cooperatively with diverse teams (department, regional, national, and project staff)

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, both independently and as part of the team

* Quick self-starter, team oriented, and able to work with different personalities and professional styles in a fast-paced environment

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word, excel, PowerPoint, and outlook, and familiar with adobe InDesign or related layout software

* Experience in proposal planning and coordination a must

* Writing ability, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

* Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success

* Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles

* Previous experience in the A/E industry strongly desired

* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

* Understanding of a slash E industry and a minimum of one year of professional marketing experience is highly desirable

* Experience in proposal planning and coordination for public and private clients

* Ability to complete a proposal from initiation to delivering with minimal guidance

* Experience with marketing strategy and document layout and production in a corporate environment

* Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and illustrator are a plus

The expected compensation range for this position is $55,000- $78,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
