Job Description:

 

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Sr. HR administrator to join our ambitious Human Resources dream team! 

If you are passionate about HR operations and you would like to give your contribution in creating a great company culture, this is the right position for you.  The Sr. HR administrator position, reporting to the VP, Human Resources, will provide support by performing a variety of tasks involving managing employee data, being the point of contact for external partners, and benefits administration. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact with external partners, such as third party administrators and insurance brokers.
  • Answer employee queries about benefits, people or HR-related issues.
  • Organize and maintain employee records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases. 
  • Manage and run the HRIS, ensuring up-to-date information on all employees.
  • Review, revise, and update company policies when needed. 
  • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits portal and update employee payroll records.
  • Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration.
  • Oversee and be the point of contact with our third party administrator for all leaves of absence.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, 
  • Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments and billing.
  • Assist in designing and distributing materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Apple products, HRIS and benefits databases.
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years experience in an administrative role
