Between Houston, Austin, and College Station, care is provided in more than 100 locations, with the new Austin campus set to open in early 2024. The Texas Medical Center campus includes the Pavilion for Women, Texas Children’s Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Specialty Care, Texas Children’s Health Plan, and The Centers for Children and Women. Two additional community hospitals are present in the Houston area, in the Woodlands and Katy. The Austin hospital location will expand the reach of Texas Children’s to caring for both children and women in central Texas.
Approximately 300,000 imaging studies and procedures are performed at Texas Children’s annually. It is a very dynamic and rapidly growing environment with high-end technology to meet the needs of the wide range of patients, including some of the most complex in the nation who are referred for super specialized care. Qualifications
- Must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Body Radiology.
- Must have MRI experience.
- Candidate must have clinical experience. Sub-specialized training in Pediatric Body Imaging (such as cardiac, musculoskeletal) is not required, but is welcomed.
- The ideal candidate will have a pioneer-like spirit that is flexible and comfortable with the challenges of starting and ramping up a new program and facility.
- Must be Board Certified/ Board Eligible in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology or another relevant certification board in your home country.
- Must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas medical license
