Assists in meeting the psycho-social needs of patients and their families as related to their medical condition. Assists with timely discharge planning for patients who are unable to return to their own homes. Assists patients with referrals to community agencies for specialized help.

- One to two years acute hospital care experience preferred.
- MSW from an school of social work by the council on social work education accredited.
- Board eligible for licensure by the state of New Jersey.

- ACSW preferred.
