Job Description To be fully engaged in provide Quality / No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by assisting licensed personnel in providing direct nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Primary Accountabilities
Performs phlebotomy and ensures accurate labeling of specimens.
Application of orthopedic splints and appliances. Performs wound care/non-sterile dressings.
Assists with triage process.
Inserts Foley catheters
Obtains IV access.
Performs quality EKG tracing and performs Stat EKG’s.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS, PALS Completion Card.
- Current EMT-P (Paramedic) certificate.
