Staffing Coordinator
Our facility is looking for an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that also provides long-term care.
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the nursing departments.
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is required to apply . Experience working at a long-term care facility or hospice care facility is required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Organize and sustain staffing within the facility Staffing Ratios.
- Understand Staffing Needs.
- Able to identify hard to fill roles and take actions to fill.
- Preparing Monthly Schedules for Nursing Staff.
- Recruiting and Filling Open Positions.
- Perform Additional Nursing Responsibilities as Needed.
- Participate in Weekend Staffing On-Call Rotation.
Requirements and Qualifications :
- Current and unencumbered Nebraska Certified Medication Adie (CMA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience coordinating personnel schedules in LTC required.
- Must be energetic, detail-oriented, and a team player.
