Scope of responsibility
At Modern Endocrine our LPN team members provide patient care in coordination with our Physician(s), and PA-C(s). Our LPNs are an integral part of our interdisciplinary clinical team assisting with CGM placements, administration of pellet treatments, and patient education, triage and other clinical activities as assigned by Physician(s), PA-C(s) and/or Clinical Manager.
LPN Team Member Qualities
- A consistent, team focused, patient centered care and support individual.
- Working knowledge of an LPN’s scope of practice in accordance with the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Able to perform routine clinic tasks including injections, maintaining a clean environment and keeping appropriate exam room inventory.
- Evaluates and adjusts treatments as necessary to meet the patient’s needs in collaboration with PA-C(s) or Physician(s).
- Team centered approach in gathering patient information and rooming patients.
- Assists with documenting patient changes and assists with educating patients on ways to improve health outcome (i.e.…diet, exercise, smoking or ETOH cessation, FSBS control).
- Maintains professional appearance at all times in adherence with clinical dress code.
- Strictly maintains confidentiality of patients and other team members seen within our clinic.
- Maintains a clean environment between patients.
- Helps to maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of our clinic.
LPN Team Member Minimum Qualifications
- Current certification from an accredited LPN program.
- Licensed in the state of Oklahoma and must have a current unencumbered license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous work experience within a clinic preferred but not required.
Pay:
- Negotiable depending on experience, Min $21/hour
