Description
The HR Coordinator will assist and provide support to the HR Department and team
members with a variety of HR tasks and administrative duties. Primary duties may include
maintaining Personnel and Employee Health files, updating internal databases and HRIS
systems, assisting with new employee orientation and onboarding, exit interviews, tracking
required training and managing reports, spreadsheets and other special projects that may
require working with complex, confidential, and high-volume data. This position reports to
the Human Resources Director.
Essential Functions
Onboarding and Orientation:
? Assist HR generalist with the tracking of pre-employment physicals and background
checks for all new hires.
? Tracks invoices related to pre-employment physicals and approve for payment.
? Assist and provide backup with new hire orientation and training.
? Send reminders to new hires regarding required documentation and collect forms as
needed for each position.
Employee Personnel & Health Records:
? Print EOHS files from vendor portal and place in EOHS file.
? Send notification to employees regarding vaccinations and maintains tracking
database and EOHS files.
? Review and approve employee health invoices from vendor.
? Manage the annual HR EOHS file purges.
? Reply to employee request for EOHS records.
? Assist Sr. HR Generalist with personnel file management as needed.
Training, Education & Licensures:
? Collect and track training and licensure certifications and attestations.
? Ensure completion of all new hire training.
? Send regular reports to managers regarding non-compliant staff.
Employee Engagement:
? Assist with the management of Employee Anniversary pins.
? Run monthly reports, interoffice pins and thank you notes to employees.
? Assist HR staff with monthly employee recognitions.
Communication:
? Shares thoughts and information in a clear, concise and professional manner, in both oral and
written communication formats.
? Demonstrates active listening and seeks further information to ensure clarity and understanding.
? Promptly responds to requests for information and works to proactively think through next steps
and anticipate potential issues, requests, or business needs.
? Openly shares knowledge and expertise.
Teamwork/Customer Service:
? Creates and supports an environment that fosters teamwork and excellent customer
service.
? Builds collaborative partnerships within HR team as well as with Senior Leadership, clinic
managers, support staff, and others, including external customers, to facilitate accurate
and timely completion of organizational initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
? High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
preferred.
? Two to Four years of human resource experience strongly preferred.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail.
? Knowledge and understanding of regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA;
etc.).
? Intermediate proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and HR systems
required.
Physical Requirement:
? Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
? Must be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds at times.
EVALUATION OF PERFORMANCE
The Human Resources Coordinator will receive annual performance evaluations that rate
job performance in accordance with HealthNet vision, mission, policies and procedures. The
evaluations may include, but not be limited to, performance of many of the specific skills and
abilities noted above. The Human Resources Coordinator is expected to present an
exemplary professional image; maintain a positive attitude toward work and HealthNet;
display a willingness to accept and complete assigned job responsibilities and duties;
demonstrate the ability to independently exercise judgment, supervise staff if applicable, and
complete all phases of assigned tasks or projects; and serve as a positive role model for
other HealthNet staff.
