Position Summary:
Learns and is expected to perform high quality radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment.
Work Schedule:
Day, Midday & Weekend Shifts
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Must maintain current CPR skills.
Successful completion of State operator certification exam.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles.
Strong verbal communication skills, ability to problem solve and use independent judgment.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Radiologic Devices, Processors, Printers, Telephone, Positioning Tables, ID Camera, Densitometer, Sensitometer, Computer (including E-mail) Fax Machine and Photocopier.
