What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Hearten?
We are looking for experienced support staff to provide for a 21 year old after school hours.
20 hours a week after school - 3:30pm-7:30pm
Make a difference in the life of an individual with development disabilities and behavioral problems. Help them achieve their next goal to overcome their challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Help an adult 21 with special needs develop daily living skills.
- Provide services in a family centered manner in their home
- Work with Case Supervisor on monthly goals and plans of action
- Social interaction and day-to-day activities
- Document client daily progress and achievements
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Passion to help others and make a difference in someone’s life
- Adhere to all agency and DDD regulations
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
