Position Title: LTC Activities Assistant - Regular Part Time (RPT)

Nature of Work
The Hearthstone is looking for someone to bring the fun to our residents! If you are passionate about elder care, reminiscence, and helping to activate the minds and bodies of our residents, we would love to have you join our Long Term Care team!

What You Will Do
Perform and/or assist with the day-to-day activities of the Activities Department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and to assist with charting as required by these regulations.
- Assist with planning organizing and coordination a program of activities for Hearthstone Residents which encourages physical, social and emotional well being. Participate in developing the overall resident's plan of care.
- Assist with loading and unloading residents from the bus and accompany them for outings. May be required to drive non-CDL licensed van for outings.
- Assist with decorating for special events, setting up and serving various dinners, meals and parties.
What You Need
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- A valid Nebraska Driver's License
- Must have a genuine interest to engage with and develop rapport with elderly residents.
