Provider Relations Specialist
Primary Responsibility
The Provider Relations Specialist will receive incoming calls from medical providers to solve billing issues.
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming calls from medical providers to solve billing issues.
  • Create check trace requests, diary follow-up on check trace requests as necessary.
  • Posting payments to an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Mailing of Explanation of Benefits and return mail.
  • Assist adjusters when bills and Explanations of Benefits are requested.
Additional  Functions & Responsibilities
  • Provide backup for the Technical Assistant.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in office/clerical environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding Microsoft Office Products, Acrobat Reader, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work within and meet timed deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to manage time and work efficiently.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
