What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant position at HeartSong Berlin?
A HeartSong's caregiver's primary responsibility is to provide care and support to our Residents, caregivers may perform a variety of duties, including:
- Personal care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Medication: Administering medication as prescribed by a doctor
- Mobility: Assisting with mobility, including, using wheelchairs, walkers and lifts when needed.
- Meal preparation: Assisting with food preparation, serving, clean up.
- Housekeeping: Light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
- Emotional support: Offering companionship and emotional support when needed.
- Health monitoring: Monitoring the client's health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes.
- Communication: Communicating with doctors and other health care professionals, and maintaining records of all treatment
- Activities: Daily scheduled activitieswith resident.
HeartSong is looking for Caregivers who are respectful, compassionate, and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Caregivers should also have physical endurance, strong work ethics, and be willing to adhere to HeartSong's policies and procedures and safety standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
