Our facilities are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable staffing coordinator (one for each facility) to help support our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a hospital and/or medical administrative capacity with a commitment to customer service. Our staffing coordinator will be responsible for creating schedules for the licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants in collaboration with the director of nursing and the director of staff development. Additional responsibilities include: replacing staff in the event of a call off, accommodating time off requests when applicable, partnering with in-house staff to best meet the needs of our staff and residents and more. We may also partner central supply ordering with this position for efficiency purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Create both licensed nurse and certified nursing assistant schedules
  • Create daily work assignments for both LN's and CNA's
  • Find coverage for open shifts when call offs occur
  • Assist with shower scheduling
  • Complete required staffing forms in collaboration with AP/Payroll
  • Strong communication with all staff to resolve any issues
  • Will handle central supply ordering and light restocking and keeping inventory of in-house supplies to maintain adequate supply levels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
