We are looking for a full-time Leasing Consultant. A person in this position will report to the Community Manager. As a Leasing Agent, you will become the public face of our property and the key liaison between the management office and our current and prospective renters. We're looking for an experienced, friendly, outgoing individual who has previous sales experience. The perfect candidate must possess very strong customer service skills and be able to project rent increases.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting personal tours, facetime tours and walking prospects through virtual tours.
- Must be familiar with CRM, Yardi, walk-ins, and telephone solicitors.
- Assisting applicants and take apartment applications.
- Assist with all prospects and inquiries.
- Applicants must be able to rent apartment and/or send applicant to other sites.
- Meet and greet prospective applicants (be people oriented).
- Guide tenants through the adding/removing/subletting application process.
- Analyze and review processed applications for approval.
- Handling and setting up lease signings.
- Perform competitive shopping.
- Scheduling move ins, and handling move in packages.
- Drawing up and executing lease contracts.
- Position requires traveling from one location to another (sometimes without notice).
- Execute on-site credit and background checks on applicants.
- Respond to property management emails, calls and in person resident visits
- Assist with planning and executing resident lifestyle events as needed
- Assist with scheduling resident communication when needed
- Review daily leasing leads and response accordingly
- Assist residents with package room inquiry as needed
- Assign resident access card upon new move in
- Hourly position - not commissioned based.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer service
- Familiar with Yardi software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Detail Oriented and able to follow through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Computer skills and phone skills
- Traveling between sites required
Skill Requirements
- Must be familiar with the “Available” list in Yardi.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Must have NYC Leasing Experience.
- Effective sales skills.
- Experienced with lease renewals preferred.
- Strong customer service/computer skills.
- Detail Oriented and be able to follow through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 Pounds at times.

Salary : $26 - $29
