Private Caregiver

We are actively looking for a competent, compassionate Caregivers/Home Health Professionals to provide care and assistance in daily living to patients in Duncan, SC.

Applicants must have or will need to have a 2 step T.B. Skin test, SLED background check and driving record. SLED checks are $26 and must be paid with a debit card. TB and 2 step TB tests are $15 and $20 accordingly. If you already have a current TB test, payment will not be required. Payments can also be arranged to be taken out of check.

The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist in clients personal care activities
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven working experience as home health aide/caregiver
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Nursing and health care administration skills
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Union, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
