Database Administrator
A growing full-service digital marketing agency is seeking a Database Administrator. This position is responsible for the creation, maintenance and optimization of large data files for our clients as well in-house databases.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Create, clean, manage and maintain data files following industry standards and best practices.
- Work directly with clients to help them understand, organize and format their product data.
- Create, manage and optimize product data feeds including extensive keyword research and analysis.
- Upload, diagnose and troubleshoot data feeds for Google and Bing.
- Ensure Internet marketing strategies are followed and customer goals are met.
- Provide IT support related to client files when needed.
- Work with Google to benefit clients and learn new procedures.
- Assist with automated reporting with analysis of the performance of campaigns along with recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications & Professional Skills
- 3 years experience working with and maintaining large Microsoft Excel files.
- Possess an understanding of advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytic tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL is a plus.
- Experience working in a Google digital agency.
- Experience working with popular paid search ad platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon Advertising) is a plus.
- Can work independently on projects while communicating with clients, vendors and co-workers.
- Excellent written and phone skills are required.
- BS/BA degree preferred.
