We are searching for a Sous Chef for a highly respected, Atlanta based restaurant group!
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Supervise and direct the efficient running of the kitchen operations
- Assist in the management of food and labor costs
- Assist the chef with inventory and ordering procedures
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items in a fully scratch kitchen
- Assist in the costing of new, existing, and seasonal recipes
- Abide by and enforce company safety and sanitation standards
- Opening and/or closing of the restaurant
- Assist in the interviewing and hiring of new employees in the BOH
Requirements
- 2 years experience as a sous chef in a high volume, independent restaurant
- Proven track record and work history
- Track record of effective leadership and management of your team
- Attention to detail, quality, and presentation
- Experience with various POS systems, inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Ability to adapt to and abide by culture of company
- Ability to multitask and execute in fast-paced environment
- Good knife and butchery abilities
