The Business Development Managers primary objective is to build strategic partnerships and develop innovative strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
- Responding to customer inquiries: Addressing customer questions, concerns, and requests through various communication channels, such as phone calls, emails, live chats, or social media platforms.
- Providing product/service information: Offering detailed information about the company's products or services, including features, benefits, pricing, and any relevant policies or procedures.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Assisting customers in resolving technical issues, product malfunctions, or service interruptions by providing step-by-step guidance or coordinating with other departments to find appropriate solutions.
- Handling complaints: Listening empathetically to customer complaints, documenting their concerns, and working towards fair resolutions while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
- Order processing and tracking: Assisting customers with placing orders, processing payments, and providing updates on the status of their orders or shipments.
- Maintaining customer records: Accurately documenting customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Upselling and cross-selling: Identifying opportunities to promote additional products or services to customers, based on their needs and preferences.
- Collaborating with internal teams: Coordinating with various departments, such as sales, technical support, billing, or shipping, to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve complex issues.
