What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Executive position at Hello Neighbors?

We are looking for self-motivated individuals to start their own community publication in the town where they live or relaunch an existing publication and be their own CEO in a 100% commission-based program. This, within our company-wide system of collaboration and support/training, using a proven business model developed by a top 10 private media company based in the US/Canada. We have over 1,500 successful publications nationally. New publishers will work with us to determine their market, likely in the local area where they live or nearby. It's important to be near the community and active in the community hence living nearby is best!

It is the sales executive/publisher's role, to which you are applying, to oversee all working and moving parts of the magazine. The most important aspect of maintaining a flourishing magazine is presenting/sell advertising and branding opportunities to local businesses in and around the determined market. We will train new publishers on all tasks involved with starting and running the publication. We also have a strong digital component which reinforces our print and a sports website to further brand small to medium-sized businesses in our markets.

It takes hard work, prospecting, developing your own leads, cold calling, appointment setting, making presentations by zoom or in person, closing sales and handling accounts.

No previous experience is required but if you have the following qualities you will most likely be successful in this position; entrepreneurial, outgoing, well-groomed, confident, enthusiastic, empathetic, resilient, honest, and passionate.

This position pays residual commission and bonus, with no commission caps, meaning there is limited upside potential. There is no base salary and no benefits are provided, but you have the opportunity to build a strong and healthy income if you work hard and persevere. This is an independent contractor position, no benefits. You will be your own”CEO”. This position is work-from-home so you have complete control over your schedule and complete control over how much income you make if you work hard and stick to our proven program.
