What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Manager position at Helping Hands Family?
Overview
Our Onboarding Ambassador directly contributes to our mission of making autism services personal by supporting our team as they onboard and assimilate into our company and culture. This role will be responsible for delivering a positive office experience as our cultural ambassador.
Scope of the Role:
- Onboarding:
- Responsible to be first point of contact for new Team members to ensure a “welcoming” onboarding experience.
- Conduct and refine Onboarding process as needed for all new Team members.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Team
- Complete onboarding, included and not limited to:
- Collecting & Filing New Hire Documents
- Background Screening Completion
- Employee File Setup
- Credentialing Information
- New Hire Information / Documents
- System Setup
- 1-9 processing
- Sending various team member feedback surveys
- Employee Engagement:
- Ability to gather, analyze and present employee engagement data obtained through Survey Monkey, NPS questionnaires and other sources.
- Help put together data for presentation to various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day new hire check ins through formalized meetings and share feedback along with suggestions for improvement where necessary.
- Training:
- Partner with Quality and Education team in order to ensure new hires have a world class experience upon hire and throughout their employment with HH Family.
- Conduct and refine as needed all HR compliance training for staff development.
- Assisting the People Operations Team in planning company-wide events or initiatives.
- Special Projects as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
- 2 years of HR experience with start-up environment OR
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent written communication skills for professional emails, presentations, and various reporting methods.
