What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Helping Hands In Home Care?
Medicaid HCBS agency accepting applications for Program Managers to work in our Michigan City office. Candidates must possess knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and awareness of Indiana Medicaid Waiver programs. This position requires regular attendance Monday through Friday 8 am-4 pm so reliable transportation is a must. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable communicating on the phone, in emails, and using live video applications. Duties include actively increasing case numbers, hiring, training, and scheduling direct support staff, completing weekly/monthly documents, attending team meetings, and completing various billing tasks. Must be available for “On Call” duty on weekends and after hours on a rotating basis. The position requires a valid Indiana Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record, and acceptable background screening in compliance with agency and state standards. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: self-directed organization, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Social and time management skills are paramount to success in this position. College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
