What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Operations Team Member position at Henderson Hills Baptist Church?
The Property Operations Team Member is part of a team devoted to providing a comfortable and distraction free environment for HHBC ministries. This position ensures all facilities are operational and functioning to an exemplary level based on the standards set forth by management.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with the preparation, setup, and breakdown of events.
- Assures that all tables, chairs, and other equipment are clean and in proper working order.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and resets the venue after an event has ended.
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the Worship Center of the church.
- Cleans using high speed burnishers, backpack vacuums, and carpet extractors.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or senior level workers.
- Ability to use a cell phone with experience in text messaging.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability and desire to train new team members and volunteer helpers on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related experience preferred
- On-the-job training offered
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, work outside, work safely overhead, bend, lift and move furniture, and operate powered cleaning equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
