Machining Technician II

Education and Training

·         High School diploma or G.E.D

·         Machine Tool Program and/or Weld Program certificate from a Technical School is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

·         Must have 5-7 years machinist experience

·         Hands-on experience in tooling, fixturing and methods is required

·         Experience with machine brands such as Haas, Heidenhain and Mazak is a plus

·         Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus

·         Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

·         Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes

·         Good communication and personal skills.

·         Able and willing to travel up to 10%

Physical Demands

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

·         50% of time spent stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing

·         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth

·         Perception and ability to adjust focus

Environmental Conditions

·         Must be able to work in non-environmental controlled environment (hot in summer months/cool in winter months)

·         The employee is exposed Dust/debris (eye protection required)

·         Oil

·         Manufacturing Noise Levels (use of hearing protection required)
