YOUR ROLE
- As a member of the global strategy team The Strategic Pricing Manager will lead and support the SBU by developing and implementing a regional pricing strategy framework for North America that creates business value via price opportunity identification and price intelligence establishment.
- Lead ongoing pricing activities across product, sales, marketing, and finance and assess resource needed for the implementation of Henkel's pricing operational model.
- Pro-actively provide expertise in price setting for regional products (e.g., consults in setting-up of a value calculator), and in price execution (e.g., consults in preparation of high impact pricing approvals).
- Develop internal and external communications related to pricing (e.g., price change communications).
- Help to design and execute pricing analyses (e.g., waterfall, scatterplots, raw-material impact) and report actual pricing vs. guidance.
- Manage and train the Pricing organization and lead adoption of pricing tools.
- Support build-up of competitive and market intelligence.
- Lead the creation and implementation of region-specific pricing strategies.
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related field of study is required. MBA Is desired but not required.
- 5 years of experience in a strategic business, marketing, revenue management or similar role is required.
- B2B or B2B2C experience in the chemical, oil, adhesives, or similar industries is desired but not required.
- Presentation/Negotiation/Convincing senior leadership and stakeholder management skills are critical.
- Technical skills in MS office, Tableau/PowerBI, SAP is desired.
