Position Available: 1st Shift Dispatcher - Monday 6am- 4pm and Tuesday- Thursday 7am- 5pm
Job Summary: Receive calls from clients, contract drivers, and Henry Inc. staff while communicating information related to routes and deliveries. Inform contract drivers of location information, paperwork and piece count discrepancies in a manner that ensures success. Maintain company standards regarding paperwork received from contract drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all orders in a timely manner
- Handle all shortages/damaged freight according to client procedures
- Ensure client product is distributed effectively and piece counts match manifests
Duties:
- Ensure that all orders, including those entered through the computer system, written and verbal are assigned to drivers and that the client’s deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
- Utilize company procedures to effectively distribute client product to the appropriate routes.
- Work closely with outlying facilities to ensure that all shortages and/or damaged freight will be handled according to client procedures; notifies the appropriate personnel of any such discrepancies.
- Meets all required schedules, deadlines and timetables, routing or client needs, communicate any discrepancies with upper management and outlining facility managers.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability to think outside the box and make quick decisions while working independently
- Excellent Customer Service skills via telephone, convey information clearly
- Ability to multitask, change directions quickly, adaptable to required changes
