Job Summary
The Sales & Operations Associate will be responsible for project management/coordination and execution of many of the activities that fall within the scope of Henry Schein One (HSO) sales operations and broader business improvement initiatives.? The Associate will report to the Sales Operations Manager and support the HSO software business. Primary responsibilities will include sales pipeline data analysis and reporting, managing sales improvement projects and liaising with key business and functional members across the HSO organization.
What you will do
- Analyze and report on sales and pipeline data monthly and as needed.
- Prepare month-end and mid-month summary of sales and pipeline results with recommendations for action for HSO Leadership Team
- Perform sales effectiveness analysis (e.g. win/lose rates, length of sales cycle, health of pipeline, productivity, trends, etc.) and share with HSPS leadership toward addressing and improving sales results.
- Escalate, track and follow-up on HSO-specific sales report issues or requests to HSPS sales operations team, Finance or HSO Leadership team.
- Help drive strategic initiatives for the HSO business.
- Create and analyze key metrics to identify issues and offer recommendations to the HSO leadership to improve performance.
- Develop, manage, and execute special projects including performance improvement plans and restructuring efforts.
- Support the existing business practice areas.
- Support activities related to annual sales target setting (business and individual), liaising with HSO leadership, Finance and HSO sales operations team.
- Contribute to HSD sales management or operations initiatives from a HSO business perspective.
- Manage sales projects for effectiveness initiatives and related communications to the HSO Sales and Marketing Leadership Teams.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Three plus years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience; minimum of two years of sales analyst experience.
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Basic planning/organizational and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communications / presentations skills, proven experience creating executive level presentations.
- Excellent analytical ability, problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Phenomenal customer service and engagement skills.
- Great people skills and the ability to be personable and professional.
- Detail oriented, persistent commitment to follow-through, self-starter.
- Internal motivation and the ability to meet assigned goals.
- Flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities and multi-tasking.
- Technological savviness and the ability to learn new concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite.

- Knowledge of Henry Schein One software portfolio.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, sales, marketing.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Domo Certification
- Proven experience as a sales professional with an understanding of dental group practice.
- Knowledge of CRM solutions.
