Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice by efficiently managing appointment scheduling for patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits efficiently to optimize physician schedules.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries regarding appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to prioritize and schedule urgent or emergent appointments.
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth functioning of the medical practice.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) preferably AthenaOne
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
