Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Embroidery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating embroidery machines to customize apparel, accessories, and other products according to customer specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical skills, and a passion for producing high-quality, customized products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computerized embroidery machines to produce logos, designs, and monograms on garments and other materials.
- Interpret and follow work orders and design specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in each job.
- Prepare fabrics, threads, and other materials for embroidery, including proper hooping and positioning of items.
- Monitor embroidery machines during operation to ensure the design is stitched correctly and adjust settings as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, including cleaning, thread tension adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure designs meet the client's expectations and company standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to review and adjust digitized designs for better embroidery results.
- Manage inventory of embroidery supplies, such as threads, needles, and stabilizers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in embroidery and machine operation preferred, but on-the-job training may be provided.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of embroidery machines (Tajima, Brother, or similar brands) and digitizing software (Wilcom, Pulse, etc.) is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow intricate design details and meet high-quality standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and handle repetitive tasks with precision.
- Creativity: An eye for color and design, with a passion for bringing creative ideas to life through embroidery.
- Time Management: Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
