What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Herdrich Petroleum?
Responsible for the development and execution of c-store category strategies, initiative and programs that drive profitable growth. You will lead strategic category sourcing and vendor contract management while building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. This role will ensure the execution of c-store sales, merchandising and marketing plans, programs and initiatives to achieve projected sales and gross profit objectives. You will be responsible for understanding the competitive landscape of all c-store categories.
• Schedule meetings with vendors monthly and implement programs offered.
• Oversee department layouts and planograms, acting as final arbiter within assigned categories and as the voice of the business in format overall space discussions.
• Schedule and attend marketing resets for merchandise and coolers with vendors.
• Manage monthly marketing planner process for distribution to the field.
• Maintain monthly Point-of-Purchase (P.O.P.) planner by compiling category development orders.
• Ensure fulfillment of P.O.P. by coordinating with and tracking performance of supplier.
• ONLINE MARKETING – Work closely with the Director of Retail, District Managers, and Quickpix store Managers to develop and maintain our social media presence and promotion via multiple platforms: Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc.
• Oversee and secure vendor rebate program and process to obtain rebate funding.
• Submit offerings to GSTV/Media Platforms monthly for promotions. Work with vendors to seek funding when possible.
• LOYALTY PROGRAM: responsible for reporting and marketing of Quickpix Rewards. Leverage loyalty and syndicated data to develop a deep understanding of the quickly moving and evolving category landscape to ensure we are resonating with our guests.
