Sr Mobile Developer (Technical Writing)

What's the role?

In this role :

• You will be closely working with our team to create and to deliver world-class documentation.
• You will create new documentation for our new and upcoming products, but also maintaining our existing product's documentation including a set of examples apps for Flutter, iOS and Android.
• You will work with other teams in the company to deploy and deliver user guides, API references and example apps for our products, but also customer engineering products.
• You will develop code examples and demo applications for the documentation, and deliver this code also to our customers via platforms like GitHub.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for writing and reading, and you are willing to take on the challenge of joining an agile organization that is doing ground breaking work in the world of location services. Moreover, you should bring along the following skills:

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the software industry.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development platforms such as Android, iOS or Flutter.
• Fluent programming experience in Java, Kotlin, Swift and Dart.
• Deep understanding of APIs, SDKs, and application design principles.
• Proven experience with writing concise texts on technical topics, for example, writing for a blog.
• Documenting and presenting your work.
• Open to learn new things, strengthen your software development skills, enjoy working and doing research in a tech team.
• Good communication skills and fluent command of the English language.

This position is part of our HERE SDK (https://www.here.com/platform/here-sdk) team which is an an international group of over 50 nationalities who are creating location services for the digital world of tomorrow.

We transform information from devices, vehicles, infrastructure and other sources into real-time location services that play a key role in how we move, live and interact with one another. The HERE SDK provides a set of programming interfaces that enable developers to build immersive native applications with features such as routing, turn-by-turn voice navigation, search, interactive 2D and 3D vector maps and much more.

To make all of that happen, and to deliver the best quality on the market, we are growing our documentation team, where you will be embedded and contributing to real world projects and applications to drive our product documentation for the HERE SDK.
