Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly communicative individual who supports and assists the Director of HealthCare Services with the organization and administration of various assignments and initiatives.
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform administrative duties, i.e., completing forms, reports, typing and preparation of confidential data.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced office environment, make quick decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner.
- Open to working in an office environment that is often very fluid and where tasks change on a daily basis.
- Assist the Director of HealthCare Services in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating HealthCare policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint/Publisher, & Outlook.
- Previous Medication Technician experience
- Current first aid certificate required
- Ability to work with geriatric population, medical professionals, families and staff
- Ability to read and interpret written procedures and directions.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical/TB test and obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
- Ability to work most holidays.
- Ability to show proof of COVID vaccination and booster (if eligible) or medical/religious exception AND be willing to test once a week.
Preferred Experience:
- A 2-year college degree preferred.
- Six (6) months experience working in Assisted or Alzheimer program preferred.
- Current CNA/MA certificate preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and proper transfer techniques preferred.
- General knowledge of oxygen tanks and equipment preferred.
Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $21 - $23 per hour depending on experience
- Sign on Bonus to be paid after 90 days ($250), 6 months ($250), and 1 year ($500).
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
- Sunday - Thursday: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
