This full time faculty member will teach out of our Madison Campus location for Non‐Degree students; Associate’s students; Bachelor’s students. Herzing Academic calendar is year-round with 3 semesters per year. Teaching responsibilities will include ground-based courses (didactic/clinicals). The hours are generally a set schedule from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday; occasional Saturday simulations and clinicals.
Requirements for Qualification
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the State of WI
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
This position requires individuals with knowledge and understanding of the professional career paths and demands of the nursing field, as well as, the ability to inspire students to the highest level of achievement in preparation for those career paths and employer demands. Those with motivation, integrity and enthusiasm for teaching, a willingness to embrace Herzing's mission and adapt to the needs to adult learners, will excel in this position.
