Hesston College is looking for an energetic and creative person to fill our open Human Resources Director position. As Hesston’s Human Resources Director, you are responsible for the overall vision and direction of Hesston College human resources, including all aspects of personnel management and delivery of institutional employee benefits.
As the primary HR representative (overseeing the payroll and benefits manager) you will be responsible for end to end human resource functions, both transactional and strategic. You will provide recruitment services, benefit administration (via a consortium), and performance management for faculty, staff, and student workers. This includes: developing and maintaining staffing strategies based on the institutional strategic plan; designing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures; overseeing payroll and related processes; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; and maintaining confidentiality of information and records.

Our goal is to find someone with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, who has at least five years of experience working in human resources. Our preference is to find someone with a master’s degree with experience in leadership and a progressive increase in responsibilities within human resources.
