HEWN is a high-end multi-line, furniture, lighting, textile, and home accessories showroom located in the Design District that offers a unique methodology for design professionals that streamlines their workflow and focuses on building relationships with their clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our sales team to help service our clients in Northern California. This is an on-site full-time position with a competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of HEWN's product lines, including furniture, lighting, textiles, and home accessories, to effectively showcase and sell to clients.
- Working directly with individual designers and design studios to provide quotes for pieces they are interested in for their projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients through sales calls, meetings, and follow-up communication
- Regularly communicate with our accounts through phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Demonstrate techniques for successful follow-up that foster trust and solidify relationships with our accounts
- Help achieve the monthly sales objectives set by the sales department
- Generate sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide feedback to management on market trends, client feedback, and potential areas for improvement.
- Maintain the showroom's appearance to the highest standards, ensuring products are well-displayed and the environment reflects HEWN's brand image.
- Provide timely follow-up on inquiries, quotes, and orders, as well as post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand clients' design projects and recommend appropriate products and solutions that meet their requirements.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote HEWN's brand and expand its client base.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge through training sessions and self-directed learning to enhance sales performance.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the home goods or furniture industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Comfortable with technology and proficient in Google Suite, Quickbooks, and Notion
